The segment of organic intermediates developed during the 1950s to provide a raw material basis for the production of advanced products, mainly dyestuffs and pharmaceutical substances. With the development of the plastics industry, Synthesia invested in modern technologies and equipment for the processing of phosgene into new products, particularly for polymerization. In connection with this development of the segment, we permanently continue to modernise research and technological bases, to be able to offer truly cutting edge products and services.

With regards to the technologies applied in our production, the core ones are nitration, hydrogenation and phosgenation. However, inseparable parts of our production processes are sulfonation and condensation.
